about

I don’t ask permission when I do remixes like these. I use the original CD tracks and chop them up, destroy them and then add stuff of my own. I do it for the pure pleasure of experimentation. I choose music that I love and use the process to dive deeper into the sounds. What I create is a reflection of the original seen through my own distorted mirror. I tend not to have a plan - I just see what happens. When it is done I send it off to the artist with my profound apologies and, in this case, it is most gratifying that Colossloth think these mixes are worth sharing. The title (6:66) came about by accident. The rough mix of the first track came out at 7 minutes and 6 seconds. It seemed obvious to keep it at that length and make all the other tracks follow suit. If you don’t already own “Plague Alone” then please buy it immediately.
